After earning his Medical degree and Bachelor of Medical Science with Honours from the University of Sydney in 1996, Dr O'Loughlin completed a Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and later achieved both a Masters and a PhD researching heart attack prediction. Dr O’Loughlin's training includes prestigious fellowships at Westmead Hospital and Stanford Hospital, where he specialized in advanced cardiology techniques including coronary angiography and angioplasty/stenting. Dr O’Loughlin has extensive experience having worked for many years in both private and public hospital and clinic settings in Sydney.
